Your role will involve overseeing the implementation of effective project management processes, fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams, and championing best practices to optimize product delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
Lead a team of Program Managers in the pursuit of successful new product introduction to prototype and production deliveries across three Vitesse Systems manufacturing locations (Newark, Clinton, and Jessup).
Plan project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables.
Analyze program-level financial data, including setting project budgets, risks, and resource allocation Provide program management team guidance on program-level financial review and opportunities for savings.
Oversee the development of key programs and ensure that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards.
Draft new and improve existing program management office policies and processes.
Set strategic goals and tactical plan to achieve program success with a culture of achieving those goals through a metric based approach.
Accurately document the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification to hold the program management team accountable for project success.
Work directly with new and existing customers to support business growth by developing strong relationships with operating departments and various management levels.
Work closely with customer engineers and purchasing to ensure product and design requirements are identified.
Work closely with Vitesse Engineering to manage the design and development of customer solutions.
Support the quotation process with the sales organization.
In conjunction with the Business Development Team, perform technical review of engineering drawings and specifications, gather and prepare required information for formal proposals including, but not limited to, drawings, sample parts, technical data, volumes, and material sources for submittal to Vitesse Engineering for cost estimating.
Support the preparation of formal quotation packages with the development of small business subcontract plans, project schedules/timelines, and compliance matrices.
Utilize Salesforce CRM package daily to capture key customer business intelligence related to open and closed business opportunities.
Use this and other tools to frequently and transparently communicate opportunities and current state to colleagues and management Successful Candidate Must Have Qualifications: BS in technical field, preferably Engineering 10+ years of Program Management or related work PMP Certification Cost account management – Earned value management The ability to organize people, the ability to influence, and exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
Strong leadership skills.
