We are looking to add a Fabricator/Technician to our R&D team who is looking for long term employment, is able to keep focused on the big picture, even during small detail oriented tasks and always brings a positive, focused, energetic and flexible attitude to work.
Description of job duties and requirements:
- reading shop drawings
-following written and verbal instructions
-can weld proficiently
-operate light and heavy manufacturing tools(shear, saw, press, forklift, etc.
)
-knowledgeable in the use of hand tool and power tools
-is knowledgeable in manual machining (mill, lathe, drill, tap, sharpen)
-keep a clean and safe working environment
-can prioritize and execute tasks with minimal supervision
-has experience forming and bending metals
-is eager to learn, develop new techniques and processes for new challenges
-work well independently and always willing to lend a hand at whatever the job may be
-ability to lift at least 50 lbs unaided
Other wanted traits:
-understanding of CAD/CAM software (Fusion360)
-proficient reading blueprints
-can proficiently use tig, mig, oxy/acetylene, soldier, and braze
-work safely with solvents and acids in a cleanroom setting
-general knowledge of electrical wiring and schematics
-experience in electroplating and anodizing

Position Details:

Salary:$32-$45.
Pay is commensurate to experience, as your skills increase so will your compensation.
