MCC's Bikes for Refugees program has provided bikes, helmets, and locks to almost 500 refugees in the last 1-1/2 years.
Refugees come to the Bay Area from many countries, including Afghanistan, Ukraine, Nicaragua, Eritrea, South Sudan, El Salvador, Turkey, Syria, and many others.
These bikes are a primary source of transportation for getting to work, classes, appointments, and shopping.
They can also be a form of entertainment for the whole family.
While we are based in Pleasanton, we may be able to pick up bikes from you, depending on your location.
Tax receipts are available for those who are interested.
