An active and busy family of four in Pleasanton is seeking a temporary nanny to care for their two children, ages 8 and 6 years, over the Summer.
Their oldest loves being outdoors, riding his bike, reading books, and playing with Legos.
Their youngest loves playing card games, following big brother around, riding bikes, and playing with Barbies.
Both children are relatively independent due to their ages, but still require attention and activities while parents are working.
*Duties *will include assisting with driving the children to Summer activities or camps, keeping them entertained and engaged, preparing simple crafts or games, light meal preparation such as snacks or lunches.
This position may include organization, laundry, or light tidying around the house while the children are at their summer activities.
The ideal candidate is comfortable planning engaging activities based on the children's interests.
This family does not have pets.
Both parents work in and out of the home.
Please have a clean motor vehicle record and a reliable vehicle, as this position does require driving on the job (candidate will receive mileage reimbursement while on the job).
*Start/End Date: *May 27th - August 9th
*Schedule: *Monday-Thursday 8am to 4pm is preferred, however the family has some flexibility on the hours and would be willing to consider adding an additional day for the right candidate.
*Hourly Rate: *$32-36/hr DOE (guaranteed hours)
*Requirements: *CPR/First Aid Certified, TrustLine Registered, 21 years or older, Minimum 3 years professional childcare experience, Willing to undergo background screening, Clean MVR, 3 professional childcare references
