After School Math, English Teacher/Teacher Assistant

*General Responsibilities:* * Prepare lesson plans, tests, and student's materials; Provide appropriate academic teaching to students according to the Center policy * Provide Assessment progress reports to Parents * Organize, lead and implement a variety of recreational and educational activities which encourages student's learning * Manage a group of students applying appropriate guidelines to ensure a healthy physical, social and emotional environment * Assist children in completing their Math, English, Chinese, Science and Social Science homework * Communicate closely with parents regarding student's progress• Encourage student's positive self-image and supports individuality and independence *Qualifications:* * Excellent communication and written skills; Outstanding knowledge in Math and English * Knowledge in teaching Reading/Writing or Math * Self-motivated, responsible, driven, and works well with minimal supervision * Organized and great time management skills * Prior experience working with children preferred 15 - 25 hours per week depending on the position.
Teacher Assistant pay range: $16 - $20 per hour Teacher pay range: $20 - $35 per hour Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.
