*After-School STEM/STEAM Instructor for 6th - 8th Grade*
*About the Role:*
* Facilitate our STEM program, blending Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) for 6th to 8th grade students.
* Create an engaging, hands-on learning experience that fosters cognitive development and problem-solving skills.
*Responsibilities:*
* Develop and deliver interactive STEM activities that captivate and educate young learners.
* Efficiently manage classroom dynamics and maintain an orderly learning environment.
* Handle and replenish STEM supplies, ensuring they are ready for each session.
* Set up student-friendly learning stations and implement effective classroom management strategies.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies for 6-8 students in an after-school setting.
* Continuously adapt teaching methods and engage in professional development for STEM enrichment.
*Experience:*
* Proven ability to engage 6-8 students in a hands-on, interactive learning environment.
* Strong skills in classroom management, organization, and STEM activity execution.
* Background in early childhood education with a focus on STEM enrichment.
* Experience with the unique aspects of after-school teaching.
* Continuous engagement in professional development in STEM and early education.
