We are looking for an energetic Summer Camp Instructor for Dublin, Danville, Livermore, Pleasanton and Pleasant Hill to supervise young campers and make sure they learn and have fun.
What do Camp Instructor do? The most important out of all Camp Insructor duties is to ensure campers are safe at all times.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing their activities and ensuring they don’t get lost or hurt.
The job duties include educating children about the topic and helping them to make models.
Instructor will be responsible for setting up equipment and winding up after the class.
Being reliable and able to build good relationships with children are two essential traits of a Camp Instructor.
If you’re patient, energetic but strict when needed, we’d like to meet you.
*Responsibilities*
* Signing in and out kids.
* Educate campers through games and explorations.
* Set up and winding up at the end
* Maintain equipment (LEGO® materials)
* Lead educational activities and games (such as model build and art & craft)
* Resolve occasional fights between children and address behavioral issues.
* Ensure the camping site is clean and that campers don’t litter recreational areas or nature.
* Proven experience as Camp Instructor or similar role working with children.
* Familiarity with camping and various activities
* Patient and reliable
* Organizational and communication skills
* A love for children
* Energetic and positive personality
* Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (moving materials)
* First aid- and CPR-certified preferred
* High school diploma or higher education
* Driving License
*Required Qualifications:*
* Love working with kids
* Demonstrated skills in classroom management
* Ability to acquire knowledge of the camp curriculum.
* Professional manner and positive attitude.
* Have the habit of responding quickly to text and email.
* Have a reliable, insured and registered car, along with a valid local driver’s license
* Must have great references
* Can pass our background check
*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Summer camp experience or experience working with youth
* Teaching experience
* Availability to teach in multiple camp locations
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.
