*Spanish Instructor After School Program (K-8th Grade) *
*Position Summary:*
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Spanish Instructor to join our summer camp team for a short-term, intensive program.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching language and culture, experience working with children, and the ability to create a fun and engaging learning environment.
This position is perfect for someone who loves to inspire young minds and introduce them to the vibrant world of the Spanish language.
*Schedule:*
* Class schedule is to be followed.
*Responsibilities:*
* *Lesson Planning: *Develop engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans that cover basic to intermediate Spanish language skills, including speaking, reading, and writing.
* *Cultural Activities:* Plan and execute activities that highlight the cultural significance of Spanish-speaking countries, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation among students.
* *Instruction:* Deliver dynamic and interactive Spanish lessons, adapting teaching methods to cater to the diverse learning styles of students in grades K-8.
* *Classroom Management:* Create a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel encouraged to participate and practice their language skills.
* *Evaluation: *Assess student progress through informal methods and provide feedback to enhance their learning experience.
* *Communication: *Serve as a point of contact for parents and camp coordinators, offering updates on the program and student progress.
*Qualifications:*
* Experience in teaching Spanish to children, especially in grades K-8.
* Strong knowledge of Spanish language and culture.
* Excellent classroom management skills and ability to engage students of various ages and learning levels.
* Creative and resourceful in lesson planning and teaching methods.
* Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.
