We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Home-Based Daycare Teacher.
Job Summary:
As a Home-Based Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and educational atmosphere in the comfort of your home.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping young minds, ensuring their safety, and facilitating age-appropriate activities that promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for children in your care.
- Develop and implement educational activities, games, and crafts tailored to the children's age and developmental stage.
- Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play and structured learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and well-being.
- Follow all daycare policies, safety procedures, and state regulations.
- Attend training sessions and seek continuous professional development to stay current in early childhood education.
(Preferred)
- Help young children use the potty and change their diapers
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (early childhood education coursework is a plus).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Proven experience working with children in a daycare or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and helping them grow.
- Ability to create a safe and engaging environment within your home.
- Patience, creativity, and a nurturing personality.
